The OSI team is comprised of highly motivated and experienced account managers, recruiters and research associates. Our team is client driven, with a strong sense of urgency and a consistent focus on results.

At the helm is President and CEO Steven Warren Wolfe. With 25 years of financial services and high technology search experience, he has successfully led numerous high profile searches including CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CIOs, IT Management as well as divisional staff hires. As founder of OSCSI, the consulting arm of OSI, he has also been awarded significant consulting engagements.

Steven Warren Wolfe was President of the Summit Group from 1980-1990, where he built a multi-national, multimillion-dollar organization renowned for rapid results and highly focused attention to detail. In 1990, he founded OSI and launched his “all under one roof” business approach -- offering many specialized services powered by an extraordinary core research engine -- that is still the cornerstone of his success today. Using this methodology, the firm is unequaled in its capability to quickly identify the best and brightest within many diverse sectors, even if they were never before engaged in this type of search.

In cooperation with the Pervasive Thinking Labs Department at Columbia University, he conceived, white-boarded and built the first-ever search engine prototype powered by an AI engine. Capable of human-to-machine dialogue, this innovative technology completely disintermediated human intervention in the search process.

In 1995, he founded OSCSI and was quickly awarded major consulting contracts including the building of a new technology platform and infrastructure for ING’s U.S. Headquarters, which housed over 3,000 employees and 1,000 traders.

 

Due to Steve’s consistency and loyalty to his respective clients, OSI becomes their trusted source. We make certain to not only understand the technical prerequisites necessary but listen carefully to what’s not said. Understanding the cultural and personal details is key to identify a good fit. Those “soft” skills are the key reason that firms are more successful than others- we never lose sight of this important detail.
